I ignore all emails that read as AI-generated. I would rather you send me an email that is rife with typos, grammatical errors, and awkwardness than a polished AI-vomited email. I would equally rather you simply email me the prompt you planned to pass to your AI. If you believe I ignored your email because it read as AI, I encourage you to re-email me, following these guidelines.
Furthermore, I will ignore all emails from prospective students that do not adhere to the instructions on this page. If you have sent me an email that follows all these instructions, but I didn't get back to you after a week, I apologize that I've missed your email. Please shoot me a reminder email, and I'll try to get back to you soon!
